CHOP

There are four drugs in this regimen, Cytoxan, Adriamycin (Hydroxydoxorubicin), Oncovin and Prednisone, all of which are given intravenously, except for Prednisone, which is given orally.

Cytoxan

750 Mg per M2

Day #1

Adriamycin

50 Mg per M2

Day #1

Oncovin

2 Mg

Day #1

Prednisone

100 Mg, orally

Days #1 to 5

All drugs are administered in one session and the cycle is repeated in three to four weeks, as soon as patient recovers from the side effects.

M2 is the body surface area which is the square footage of the patient's body surface. This is measured based on height and weight.
