Campat (Alemtuzumab)

Campath is a monoclonal antibody that is directed against a specific cell surface protein, CD52 which is expressed on the surface of normal and malignant lymphoid cells. This drug is used in treatment of patients with CLL who have previously failed other treatments.  It is also used as part of bone marrow transplantation procedure in similar patients.
